6. Assistance to Sue Orange Uganda Over 20,000 Airtime Voucher Initiated By Francis Ekwaro

Loss of 20,000 Ugx airtime due to blocked vouchers occasioned by theft of the same.

Why would an innocent buyer have to get refund from seller when s/he wasn’t aware of the stolen vouchers?

In Hoima Orange Internet is so slow that one can successfully open just a few emails and yet airtime is all lost at the end of each month.

Conclusion/ Remarks

Switch to using the soft loading option whereby you buy the airtime from vendors like Payway or through your bank ATM.

This should be raised with UCC  given that customers were not pre alerted of the stolen cards in circulation

I asked Orange to exchange my airtime or refund my money and they refused. It is absurd that their response to bulk airtime theft is to shift the burden to their customers.
