Questions.

  • How was it detected? What tools were used?
  • Sounds like it is already contained, who was involved in the containment?
  • What was the target in China?
  • Have you identified who the perpetrators are?
  • What does it mean for Uganda considering the fact that it was China that was targeted through networks largely powered by Huawei a Chinese firm?

Conclusion/ Remarks

The attack lasted 6 minutes with 9GB/s being sent. A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is an attempt to make a machine or network resource unavailable to its intended users.
