1. How to find actual GPS location coordinates. Initiated by Godfrey Ssali

How do I find the actual coordinates of a place I need on Google maps?

“Download Google Earth, install and sign in using your Google account.

Go To Search: Type place to locate it easily or the neighbouring area. E.g. Kampala Serena Hotel”

“I’m looking at a place in my village that's currently not shown or displayed on the Google Maps.

Could it be that the maps were last taken before construction of the premises?”

Conclusion/ Remarks

“How can i ask Google to redraw the maps so as to add this place?”

“Alternatively, if you are 100% sure that the place exists and you have been there (Local Knowledge), you can try to map it yourself by following the instructions given after creating an account (Sign Up) on OpenStreetMap (OSM Imagery could also date as back as 2012, so places/buildings put up in 2014 may not be displayed, although you can map them yourself, if you are sure that they exist).”

“U will need to visit the place with a GPS device.”

2. Statistics for Users on Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn. Initiated by Mark Ivan Kyeyune

“Can someone give me some leads on how I can get this data for myself from time to time?”

Conclusion/ Remarks

“ Visit SocialBaker for Uganda statistic on Facebook, Twitter and Google+
