Videos from the dialogue with Ministry of ICT PDF Print E-mail

10 December 2009

This year, I-Network has experimented with the development of videos as another medium of communicating our activities. Recently, we held a dialogue with the ministry of ICT and made some amateur videos.

Following reports in the local media, members of the I-Network mailing list held online discussions on the performance of the ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MoICT). The discussions and the media reports both cast the ministry in poor light and portrayed the Ministry in a negative way.

Members of the I-Network discussion list proposed a dialogue with the Ministry to respond to the concerns that were raised on the list and to give comprehensive answers on the allegations in the newspapers.

The videos show parts of the dialogue which answer some of the key issues raised on the mailing list and at the first meeting.

1. PS MoICT makes presentation at dialogue

2. NITA-U Board members

3. The selection of NITA-U Executive Director

4. Do you know your consumer rights?

5. Status of the first phase of NBI/EGI

Your feedback on how we can make our videos better and more useful to you is welcome.
