Most list members have not been consulted before being added to a commercial text message list and they have found it very difficult to get off these lists once they start receiving the text message.

An association of mobile phone content providers is now drawing up a policy for its members to abide by that includes procedure for getting people on and off these commercial lists, which should go god way in reducing the amount of spam you  get on your phone.

At present there is no legislation for unsolicited text messages and phone spam. May be this could be added to the computer misuse bill

Give us your experience with unsolicited text messages and you views on legislating phone spam.
