1. Need an E-learning System Initiated by Robert Kasozi

Where can I get cost effective elearning system good for tertiary institution? Are there some free open source systems?

Drupal is better, if you want a cutting edge solution

Try Moodle, its seems to be the leader in open source educational systems, is very mature and works for all types of institutions; stable, light and easy to deploy.

You might want to check with UTAMU.

Attempts to unlock Japanese Networks have failed previously. It's the Unlocks from other countries  like US, UK, Sweden, Canada etc that have worked out.

Is  google fiber up and running, how can  I access it. Which company is managing it, what speeds are on offer and at what pricing?

Its only wholesale at this stage, which is the reason you might not have heard about it.

 

If you happen to be in some places around Kampala and see  Free WiFi without any security that is Google Internet. Google could be partnering with One Solutions.

 

RENU uses it to deliver Internet to universities.
