Comments on the National ICT Policy framework draft PDF Print E-mail

The advent of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is fundamentally changing the way we work, learn and interact. It is the belief of the Government of Uganda (GoU) that ICT should be utilized to move the Country into a knowledge Economy.

In this regard, the Ministry is reviewing the National ICT Policy Framework (2003) and has developed a draft National ICT Policy Framework (2012), which identifies the role of ICT in national development and spells out its (ICT) core pillars, critical success factors and a roadmap which will be adopted to operationalize the Policy.

The purpose of this e-mail, therefore, is to request you to post this on the i-network as a Request for Comments to obtain input into the draft National ICT Policy Framework (2012).  The electronic copy is as attached.

We shall be grateful to receive comments by 15th November, 2012 via: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
