Makerere website hacked!

Flowers

Frowns

The Makerere University website was hacked into.

“Any system in the world can be hacked.”

Conclusion/ Remarks

“Getting hacked many times does not reflect Information Security deficiency of individuals but the lack of an active or poorly implemented Information Security program in the organisation. This can be because of limited budget or the organisation has other priorities or even management has not been convinced enough to take on IS seriously.”

“It is never about the hack but the response time that matters.”
