Rural ICT partners meet on PDF Print E-mail
Actionaid International Uganda together with Schoolnet and Ugabytes, have organised a Uganda ICT partners Workshop that will focus on ICT projects for rural development. The two day non residential workshop is to take place on 24th and 25th April in Munyonyo, Kampala.

The workshop is expected to bring together invited practioneers of ICT projects for rural development, those in policy and managers to create a roadmap for sustainable national ICT efforts for rural development.

The workshop event will also centre on sharing knowledge and innovations from different rural ICT initiatives and to map out major strength, challenges,gaps and linkages in current programmes and potential areas of collaboration between projects. The participants will also map out a common strategic path for consolidating national ICT efforts for rural development.

Organisers of the workshop say participants will make brief presentations on their work in ICTs for rural development and also come along with any material they find useful for sharing with the other participants in the workshop. The comprehensive agenda will be communicated to you before the commencement of the workshop.
